yeah..i ditto what you say luckystripe, but i kind of would like him to feel for himself and stuff, and come to me if he has something on his mind or is in a "rut", i want to give him his distance, but be there when he needs that guidance
i wasn't ever allowed to play video games or watch tv during the day unless any of the listed below were happening. What sucked is that my family was sooooo overprotected I had to play n my grandparents back yard and was only allowed to have people over-not actually play outside of the yard. But I had a bitchin cemented in full on play ground swing set and sandbox and kiddie pool so I had a lot of friends
Yes there are a lot of kids who are like that when it comes to the site, but I guess I'm one of the few exceptions... I use mine to keep up with friends and family and all of that... I have a hard time keeping phone numbers and ect. and that's the only way I've found to do so. *shrugs*
yea, you've told me that about how overprotective i broke curfew so many times....park lights went off at 10. so we'd be out all day, only go home for food if we thought of it...but after 10, it was dark out...so we'd just play manhunt all over, peoples backyards...
we-hell.. back when I was a youngin, we never arm wrestled bears, we thumb-wrastled chihuahuas. Mainly, because Chihuahuas do not have said thumb(s), so tharr was nothing to run from. Argh, Pirate-dan.
I got rid of my Myspace account shortly after finding out Rupert Murdoch bought the company. I got a Facebook account a couple months back but I hate the restricted format and never go on. It'd be cool if Hipforums had a Myspace-type profile feature.
Having a MySpace account is all about what YOU make of it. People assume that because somebody has a MySpace account, it must be like all the others. Granted, 95% of the MySpace profiles are pure mindlessness, there are a few that do address issues and things of substance.
I am the Founder of a paranormal group in our city, and I have a myspace account for it, and its been very helpful to get business, i have over 1800 friends. Plus I talk to other Lead Investigators and we exchange pics and ideas. Its really great!
If you know of a really great place, and the gas wasnt so high, we'd come down and have you do a tag along.
It's good for that. Back when I used to blog there I had a couple thousand people reading my stuff. If you start writing there let us know so we can read it.
