and his excuse always is.. for everything, i dont have a job.

 

even tho... i fill out about four apps. a week and im digging myself outta deep depression. ya know?

im trying.

he just makes me feel like shit.

i admit my faults to him like i do to everyone else. but when ever i try to talk to him about his... he just says "well if you didnt.... blah blah then i wouldnt...blah blah"

and i think he believes it. that's it's all me. it's always me. he has no faults.

 

Trish i dont know you or Dan very well at all but if this is true it sounds like there is no hope of him changing, people have to want to change first and even then it isn't strait forward, any way as marie said best of luck with what ever decision you do make.

 

I've been there so i know EXACTLY how hard it is to leave.. but you WILL have to one day... i always used to make excuses for my husband trying to convince everyone he wasnt as bad but deep down i knew that wasnt true.
I was in love with the man i married.. the one whos jealousy and control i first mistook as protectiveness.. and in a way i still am...i left 17 months ago... and its hard.. but please Interval..... find the confidence in yourself to leave him. There ARE better men out there.
But when you do leave him dont do the 'right' thing and tell him your going... i did that and my planned dignified exit was in an ambulance with broken bones.....so just go when hes not there and never look back...

the problem is...

he only hits me when i drink. so in some ways.. its my fault too.

in any case, im feeling better today (i guess) and i wanna thank you guys for your advice and support.... ill defiantly give some thought to everything that was written.
