Well, I don't use my iPod in the car. I mostly use it as a very small, nifty little external harddrive that I can use like a jukebox on my computer... which is pretty cool. And then I also use it when I'm out walking. Yeah, the car thing is lame and dangerous, unless you have one of those stereos that actually allows you to control the iPod from it. Still, it's a little dangerous, trying to navigate playlists and folders while driving. I just throw in a CD and listen to it for a couple weeks maybe (I don't drive that much, so I don't get too tired of it too quickly).
Yeah... That's what I do. I keep a cd folder thing on my billfolds/sunshades... I usually carry two or three extra cd books, as well... depends. I rotate them with the ones in the house, when I get tired of them, then rotate them with my dad and stuff. When I was driving the Toyota I was in the accident with, I could be like "haha.. all of my CDs are worth more than the car I'm driving"... to people, whenever we started talking about music or the car itself. I was worried more about the things inside the car than the car itself.
well, I use the ipod in the car. I usally just set it to shuffle and if I don't feel like listening to that song I just click next until I find one I want to. It's no more dangerous then turning a station or the volume up or down.
