ya got a point there...it can be hard to trust a dealer who is known for having drugs laced with such vile things

It isn't very realistic to think that dealers lace their pot. It would be extremely expensive for them to buy some other drug and then take the time to 'lace' all their pot with it and sell it to people for no reason. If some dealer did lace it with something, they'd probably tell you so they could mark up the price. I know I can't speak for all dealers out there, but most are more concerned with moving their product in a timely fashion. It would take some dude sitting around with nothing to do and a lot of money to waste to decide to buy a lot of pot and then lace it and sell it to random kids. If you smoke for a while, it gets easier to spot buds that look a little off. Taste would come into play as well.

I'm not saying you shouldn't worry about where your bud comes from, I'd love to buy homegrown from a close friend every time I pick up, but it shouldn't be a main concern.

And really.. just grow your own. It really isn't hard at all.
