OK! whats the deal with washing your hair when you start dreads? what do you DO?

 

i know that my boyfriend did not wash his hair at first...they got pretty grimy at first but if u dont wash em for long enough the hair will actually start to wash itself kind of. but then as his dreads formed together he started washing them n im glad he did cuz they are really clean and healthy looking rather than being greasy and gross lookin.

 

but its cool to get them wet an stuff yeah?

Can some one create a picture of chris on photoshop or something [with dreads].. this can be as respectful or as insulting as you like.. Both will be funny i would imagine... well erm i would find it funny anyway

 

yep...u been to knotty locks yet? u can read the topics and stuff that they write about without actually joining. and im sure u would def be able to find some dreading tips there.

haha thats quite a good idea actually...see what this boy will look like all dreaded up...i doubt it would be realistic tho...cuz dreads suit most anyone really...its basically just going back to our roots, the way we used to be.

There is a difference between looking like you just rolled out of bed [cavemen] and it looking like you could leave the house with it.

I was not being completly malicious.. Try putting dreads on me and i can assure you i would look a prat..it is the attitude and the integrity you bring to them that counts, i think.. I would show neither of those attributes, if i had dreads..
