What is your general career field? For some reason I thought you worked in mental health, but I guess not.
what i hate most is these fucking firemen/police and people who join the army to "serve" us and "put their life in danger for our freedom and safety" fuck that...they do it for a paycheck or because they WANT to....so they need to stop acting so high horse...their JOB is no better than anyone elses...
I do have a different level of respect for people who do jobs that I myself couldn't do....but I agree that no job is "better" than anyone elses.
Government jobs eh....doing nothing to get paid eh. Well what job are ya NOT doing because most Americans have had to deal with irresponsible, uncaring people doing pisspoor jobs when we have to deal with our Government. So...thanks a lot. People wonder why it's takes forever to do anything if it has to go through government channels. ppfftt Maybe we should say a "meaningful" job is one where you actually do your job.
Hello, I guess you have no idea how hard it is to do nothing all day long. And if you couldn't finish doing nothing today, you have to continue tomorrow. That's even worse . Regards Gyro
When someone not doing their job affects so many other people all I have to say is "fuck you, you lazy piss ant"
A job at which you can do what you want whenever you want sounds not too bad to have of course, but when it is a government job you are basically enabling (and often directly causing) corruption. If it is your own business, who cares (well depending on the details I guess ). If it is society's business we all should care (if only because we are indirectly paying those people ). In this case I don't really give a shit because he's australian
I heard from family in Brasil that VG's approach to his government job is not only common in Brasil but really the expected way to go. It is holding SO MUCH back because there's so much corruption and apathy where it comes to the government system. People just accept that people at government jobs get payed all the time but often never (and I mean this literally), NEVER show up at their job. You can understand that a large amount of people who can get such a job over there are very happy and complacent. Hey, those people in the slums were always there, so it's not their fault nothing changes right.
Yes, they live 'near' Sao Paulo in the countryside. I've only been there once, next time I wanna see more of the country (more beach and up north of course near the Amazone ). But it already made a superb impression on me! Great country
