Haha! Don't feel pity for me, for Christ's sake. I'm happy and I couldn't ask more from life. I'm not stupid and know they're harmful, but I probably smoke too many cigarettes anyway (and I'm not giving them up anytime soon). Of course I don't need drugs to feel, I'm just giving you an example of what I do feel when on a particular drug. Drugs don't just make up emotions that you don't have, they just amplify them. If you've never experienced love, then how would you know if you actually were experiencing it on drugs?
i always said i'd try that when i'm 80 as long as i dont' have kids or something. either that or if i get some sort of terminal disease. otherwise tis not worth it :tongue:
besides if you have friends that like to drink and do drugs and you don't you can be their 'babysitter' and look after them or 'designated driver' (if you drive), etc.
i don't think it's a matter of intelligence or lack there of. some of the worlds most intelligent people were known to take drugs. for instance Carl Sagan, the guy that wrote Cosmos was known to smoke weed. i understand where you are coming from, as i used to feel like you do; but then i met people that broadened my horizons and made me realize that it isn't stupid to take a drug. hell, insects and creatures in nature seek out certain berries and things because they get high off of them. i think taking drugs is only natural really, and without going into the chemically created drugs there are plenty out there that are naturally grown and i feel were put here on this planet for a reason. for us to enjoy, experience 'enlightenment', and help us when we are ill.
I really dont know...as I said, I ve never taken any drugs so i cant say anything. Maybe if I knew what its like to be on some drug or sth...
Indeedy-do.. in fact you can pretty much name a drug and I've probably either done it or plan to do it at some point. Although I'm not doing PCP again, that crap was TOO scary. Fuck. Also Belladonna is a pretty wild ride, but not in a good way. 5 damn days
Don't pitty him for taking drugs. Sure, drugs can be harmful but everything comes with risks attached. A drug habbit doesn't have to be a drug problem and I sometimes think people need to remember that. I've been a drug user for quite a few years now and I can honestly say that apart from Cocaine, no other drug has ever been a problem for me. Drugs are also not as harmful or evil as they are made out to be. Just because mummy told you they were bad and the media makes them out to be the work of Satan, doesn't make it true. Just because they're illegal, it doesn't make them any worse than legal drugs such as Alcohol or Tobacco. It is common knowledge that Alcohol is the biggest killer drug worldwide by far and also the drug that the vast majority of people have problems with, yet it's completely legal.
