How about a warm bath, get a cup of coffee or tea, and relax on the sofa with a good book? That what I do when I feel like doing nothing and something at the same time. Minus the bath part, I take showers :)

    Ah I see.
You know what though? My son was laying down but, he didnt want to nap. So I made him at least try for 45 minutes. And I just went to him and said "Ok, do you want to get up and play with the kids?" (Im babysitting) and he jumped up and said "I can play kids?!" all excited. Innocence always breaks my heart :)

duct tape them to the ceiling above the couch. that way you can lay down, relax and keep an eye on them:)

duct tape is always the answer that comes to mind with my daughter...though I have never used it....but gosh do I have fun envisioning the ways that I can bind her chaotic energy when it is full speed.

If I didn't laugh I would cry sometimes from the stress of it all. i am sure you are feeling that way today.

I got that kind of vibe off ya from your posts here :)
And when you do, you can teach them all about philosophy! Im sure they will be little geniuses. When my son gets old enough I want to try meditation with him and take him to the forests and hopefully be a respectable father to him as he grows. I have a feeling that even though Im young still, I will retain my broad interests and not lose sight of my opinion that being young is being open, and being open brings true happyness.

    Yep :)
And it's funny how some people are just predisposed to it. I remember my parents never forcing me to do anything until about 13 and then it was my stepdads insane yard work. But even as a real little kid, I remember being more fascinated and involved with my thoughts and reflecting on life than I was with toys are cartoons or whatever. And it never stopped, I didnt even know about meditation in any traditional sense until I was a teen, but I was always wondering. Not even a day dreamer really, just an observer who couldnt help but dare to look deeper.
I see that a lot in Jack, even if he is wild and goofy all the time. He always seems to focus so intensly on everything new
