I totally agree, it's such a strange yet liberating feeling to shave it all off. :D And you can always donate your hair to charity as well, so even if you don't like the end result you still did something worthwhile at least.

Thanks  I can see myself wearing the wig a lot though, I don't feel too comfortable without it except at home. But really, that was my plan, to wear a wig up until my own hair had grown a bit. Short hair looks good on me but I'm still not so sure about this current look.. :p I intimidate myself when I look in the mirror!

a word of warning, i'd advise against using a razor on it, unless you are fine with it drying out and peeling and getting gross.

if you want to keep it shaved, use an electric razor and plenty of products to moisturize the scalp.

last time i actually shaved my head it peeled worse than any sunburn i've had. it was gross!

also, if you go for a full shave, the next few days the stubble will stick and hold you in place when you're laying down on a pillow:p it feels wierd, but cool

i personally think you look gorgeous with your new cut. for maintenance purposes, if you want to keep it like this for a bit, i'd get either an electric razor, or hair clippers and just buzz it on #1

Yeah, my fiance used his hair clippers on it yesterday. I wouldn't use a normal razor, no shaving rash on scalp thanks! I'm not going to keep my head like this though, I'm just going to let the hair grow back. The only reason I shaved my head really was to get rid of the black and let my natural colour grow back. I'm so glad I did it though coz it's such a crazy feeling to have no hair..

Oh and I'm glad you mentioned the pillow thing, I thought I was just being paranoid last night! :D

Anyhow nesta, thanks so much for your lovely comments  I was expecting everyone to say I look like a freak and I've kinda felt like a freak all day so it's nice to hear some encouraging words, muchly appreciated.

ohhhh you can rub all kinds of essential oils on your head and realize the chakra connectors. If I had a shaved head I would put mint oil and mineral wwater on my head. That would be sooo refreshing and invigorating.
    ps-I am stoned

Haha oh yeah, that was it :D A friend of mine actually said the same thing, she got crazy hair a few weeks ago, massive colourful synthetic dreads. She said I'm stealing her thunder. :D

How are you liking your new hair girlie?
