Heres an Ebay link to 3 4-tracks by cher, new in the box. Open bid is 99 cents. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=618&item=4066819245&rd=1 I typed in "vintage 4 track" in the search window. If you like Cher....5 days left on this one although there were more listings I didn't look at. Also Luv, I know there are bricks in Richmond and there are also some old cobblestone/brick streets in the old part of Ghent in Norfolk. We have one in our garden that has our towns name stamped into it and it is SOO heavy, n ot like the cheapo's they make now. I love old bricks and rocks. Screw Muffy....
I used to have a Montego........it took me half a day to get in my first accident...memories. I am so old that I remember when Pong came out, and everyone thought this new technology was really hightech. Popular science magazine said that by 2000 we would all have flying cars. I remember wondering if 1984 was going to be like the book....but it was so far away it wasn't too worrying. I remember Elvis dying. I remember Bryan Trottier's rookie season, and when cigarettes were a buck a pack. A ten speed was the most gears on a bike, and there were no mtn. bikes, bmx bikes, or snowboards. Also, Sly Stallone was a struggling unknown, and Janet Jackson was a little girl on Good Times. I remember no pagers, cellphones, remote controls, or cassette tapes.
~* y'all have been a stitch, especailly you teepi! yah,yah..I'm right there remembering alla the same shit. An Oz. was four and a half fimgers, and 4way hits really meant 4way or you'd be tripping balls for some time.Relived quite a few things here. Thanks kind folks *~

I'm so old I remember buying an ounce of pot for $15 and bitching if it had a lot of seeds in it since the seeds weren't worth anything. I'm so old I remember when rapping meant talking and gay meant happy.
I am so old: I remember when the Big Bang was just a good idea, I remember more than one Big Bang, I still think of the Pre-Cambrian Explosion as THE sexual revolution, I can't watch films about undersea life without feeling a little nostalgic, Feathers? Fur? Farming? I tell ya, they're just Fads, I remember when Rock and Roll was just a way to hunt for mammoths, Fire? Surely this will anger the Gods, Speach? Surely this will anger the Gods, Monotheism? Surely this will anger the Gods, I remember when Jesus still wondered what he would be when he grew up, I remember when history was still just called "the News," I remember when the Dark Ages were still "the Future."
HOOOOOOO-AAHHHHH!!!! We got a live one here, chil'ren!!! Howdy, Varuna!! What took ya so long ta git here???:X
Howdy, luvndrumm!!! I was just accumulating birthdays (41 and counting, in THIS incarnation), waiting for someone to invent the internet (Al Gore says he had a hand in it, so, um, thanks Al), and playing with the possibilies. Written English is a toybox full of fun. Aww shucks (kicks the ground) I am all blushy now. It is a mighty fine love you all are serving up. Because now . . . I feel so young that . . . (your turn).
"I feel so young that . . . " I can't think exactly how to finish that one. But I do know something that'll help you feel younger: Keep learning. Example - Over the past few months I've taught myself how to cook several new things. Things I've always wanted to cook (then eat). Feels great and tastes good too. Example - In either the veggie garden or one of my herb gardens there is always something to learn. That's one of the reasons I like it sooooo much. Peace, poor_old_dad
I remember when milk was delievered to you door in glass bottles..I remember when most food came in glass...I remember when you "knew" most of the neighbors in the "hood" and you actually helped them...I remember when someone died, there would be a person who collected money for the family and it actually got there...I remember when most food you ate was"real" and organic....but, on a sad note...I remember when we {family} went for a trip upstate Pennsylvania and stopped at a diner...the waitress said in a nice but, kinda spooky voice...like a whisper..."we don't serve niggers"....my mom spoke up.."good...we don't eat 'em"...but, we left cuz they might have spit in our food or worst...first time I was called a "******" to my face...now for the young folks it just a slang...funny how things change and remain the same....I miss the real taste of food and giant candy bars for less than a quarter...damn...I'm old !
