i don't think theres anything wrong with it i'm 16 and i was recently with a guy who was 24. I don't think it should have to do with age, you can't really control who you have feelings for. I mean i think taking his virginity is a little weird. But i'm not really one to judge.

 

Why is it ok for a 40 year old to marry a 34 year old, but not ok for a 20 year old to date a 14 year old?

i completely disagree with that. I'm only sixteen and i don't think it's that big of a deal dating someone 8 or 9 years older then me.

Well I think there should be limits, I mean in Canada the age of consent is 14, but that applies if you're minimum of 5 years older, if you're say 20 you can't have sex with a 14 year old and I think that's right.

I think until you're 18 and are able to vote, THEN you can sleep with with whomever you want no matter the age.

Maybe it's just me, although I know it isn't, but something about a 16 year old dating a 30 year old seems strange to me.

 

i said it seems to. I know someone who went out with a 22yr old and loads of people kept saying she was a victim of pedophilia (sorry sp.) and she was 13.

It doesnt bother me that much bt i think that here its much easier for older guys or gals to take advantage of younger people which is why i personally dont really like it.

I think it seems like more of a deal because if it was a 15 yr old guy with a 7 yr old girl i wouldnt like that. My reasons are that the girl is still physically immature and probably mentally bt maybe not with what they all learn nowadays. The guy could take advantage of her (unless shes a confident, educated girl) and wel idk. I know what i mean bt i dont know how to explain it so nevermind. Just ignore me
