Imagine A Psychedelic Island Paradise

You have to accept the bad with the good, that is how it is, if you plan for perfection in a society like this or any society for that matter then you are delusional and will most likely be the one to crumble and ruin it for everyone.

 

There would be a lot of rules.... like quantities used per month, and you would have to figure out how to keep a year round crop even through the nasty huricane and monsoon seasons that most islands have... and there would be people to delegate over the cultivation and preservation of the "life plants". But yeah its possible you would just have to screen the shit out of the people being let into the little world because some people would be greedy stupid druggies that just want to stay high instead of really seeing the purpose of such a place... and i am not saying anything is wrong with staying high... just that some people need a lesson in conservation.

 

Ever read "Island" by Aldous Huxley? It would be like that. Or that would be the vision. Of course opiates, alcohol, cocaine, amphetamines, and the like would be available but I was thinking only to responsible psychonaut would be allowed on the island as a regular.....like the main "drugs" are the soft drugs that are used for more than just getting high or being a stupid druggie junky.....which is what the hard drugs I listed could lead to. If the island was filled with actual psychonauts, these psychonauts will respoibly use these harder substances. And yeah people have to worry about cultivation and all......luckily there will be an economic system based on the division of labor system where a group of people take of the plant-based food and drugs, fungi-based food and drugs, meat, hemp, and whatever else.

But the system should be Kropotkinesque co-operative......ideally an anarcho-communist system (where barter and resource-based money is allowed of course).

Always wondered about Hawaii.....but I bet it's expensive to buy your own island.
