    I know. So was I. :2thumbsup:

I didn't find him that disrespectful. He sort of just came off as though he had nothing better to do than curse for two and a half minutes. He made a comment that the video was "stupid" or something. It was a pretty illogical idea, a time traveller on a cell phone in 1928 and not one of the men who passed the woman on the street said anything or even looked at her, thereby acknowledging she was out of place or doing something odd.

Ok, fair enough. It just came across as if he was going to say: "Some Limey from Engerland thought ..... wtf, we kicked your ass in....etc etc etc"

I hate when people use so many curse words in normal conversation

I forgot to say that when I first saw the video I thought it was an editing problem thta showed a director/cameraperson/whatever walking through frame with a light measuring meter held near their face

exactly. my friend had the theory that someone figured out how to send cell phone signals across not only space but time as well. That pretty much showed me how conspiracy theories become so accepted with certain people..when a hole in the theory is found, people find any reason and way to justify it. so silly.

i cant believe how crazy people went over this video. The thing (well, now we know its a hearing aid) could be absolutely anything. All you can see is her hand held to her ear, you cant actually see anything that looks like a cell phone. but because people living in 2010 would only hold a cell phone up to their ear, they assumed thats the only thing it could possibly be.

    so, so silly.

I've seen time travelers in episodes of Star Trek. Yes, they're using ray guns which haven't been invented yet! They must be time travelers!

Seriously, it's an old lady bitching that her hearing aid isn't working.

I posted earlier it could have been a communicator - like in Star Trek.
She could have been communicating with her colleagues in a space-ship circling earth...
If she was a time traveler, there wouldn't be anybody in 1928 for her to communicate with, but if it was it would also mean there were others here.
I guess there could have been others, and her communication device worked like a high-powered walkie-talkie rather than a mobile phone (no masts needed).
I'm not quite sure why the guy in the video chose to think it might have been a boring old mobile-phone.
    He obviously watches no science-fiction.

    oh..
I would hope in the future, by the time we have communicators and space ships we would have already eliminated fatness and any cause of that hobble she's got. resistance is futile.

I think obesity will increase in the future.
They'll be devices to pretty much do everything for us.
Plus health-care will be so expensive (socialised health-care will be a thing of the past) people will not be able to afford to be healthy.
No govermental health interventions either (The Tea Party will have taken over the world - NWO)
She might even have been here to get some health care.
    Who knows?

yeah obesity is definitely increasing, but with it life expectancy is decreasing. if the trend continues then people will be dying in their 30s on average. So therefore she should technically have died already.
