In the year 2000....

actualy i thought 2000 was pretty cool. that new years arround the world thing they did on the toob was the best thing i'd ever seen on there before or since.

it's what happened after 20 guys ripped off four airplanes and knocked down a couple of financial towers that has been funked up since.

sure i'm a little dissppointed we wern't all living in solar powered domes and still worshiping the automobile and throwing human scaled alternatives out with the bath water.

but the clinton era was mostly ok. there was crap even then 'our' government was doing in lots of other parts of the world that was screwing up lives and killing people, but mostly it wasn't being bragged about and claimed to be being done in my name.

yes there were a lot of things that got thrown out with the bath water in the 80s and even before, that if it hadn't been, the turn of the melinia would have been a hell of a lot more gratifying.

people will, i think, hope, keep going on about, get tired of the crap that's going on now, and maybe, just maybe, be able, or be able with circumstances in nature, to turn a lot of this arround.

but the reasons, are still what i've stated before, in my first post in this thread. and untill THAT chainges, we're all still just blowing smoke.
