You know, with you being in the Netherlands, You know the kind of hatred that can happen in a school room, be taught in the class room. Tearing Down one and building up another. I really do worry about what is to come, there is an energy you can feel and it is not a good feeling.

Not an anomaly, as I said there are others too.

Toronto has blacks only allowed school. This I think is fucked up too. I would not attend a whites only allowed school, why is it ok for a blacks only allowed school?

I'm glad i can put things in perspective. Hm bad energy and no good feelings? How many schools have segregated their classrooms by race? What was the reaction to that? Oh man the nation will crumble...!

Yeah, mentioning an agenda apparently makes you a racist I suppose? Rediculous. Maybe if we deny it is happening history will repeat itself.

Stop making assumptions, I go out and pick up trash all the time in my community. I love the US and it has a lot of potential, but it doesn't have any potential when people think going back, or not progressing at all is the way to go.

And hopefully that wont happen today, but I am not going to let christians forget their past. Too many people have have been killed in the name of christianity.
And today they just exploit people to further their own materialistic gains. Tell me why the church needs all that money in the offering plate when they don't have to pay taxes, and where does that money go besides making their buildings more lavish? Why does the church continue to suppress knowledge? Why does the church have the right to tell me what is wrong and what is right when their priests molest children? Why do people follow a book that says slavery is okay? That sacrificing sheep at one time made god happy? That god sent 2 bears to kill 42 children for making fun of an old, bald dude?

My issues with christianity are too vast to list on this website, and their persecution of free thinkers is just one of the many.
Are all christians bad? No. Same as Islam, or any other religion for that matter. But that doesn't mean they don't have some bad apples that need exposed.

Where exactly are we finally getting to?

You need to back up and acknowledge that fucked up shit is happening in schools, not just one. An anomaly, calling it that is ignoring it.. making it insignificant.

Lol i have heard nothing about modern segregation in classrooms. I asked how it got covered and reacted to to find out more about it. Not to condemn anyone. I can't acknowledge stuff i have not verified. Im also certainly not ignoring it. I'm skeptical because the people i see making such claims are notorious for assuming stuff and portraying their opinions as fact. Please don't get personal, rather just answer the valid question. If you agree this hate and segregation is not an organic happening but consciously carrying out a particular agenda why not answer..? And why in earth put it as if asking such a question about this agenda is an accusation of Dick being racist? You're a tragic convo partner...

Naaa, that's ok man, mark it down as a "win", you seem to need that sort of thing and I find discussions with you to be circular to the point of nausea. So, I concede "defeat" and will not go lick my wounds and wonder how I'll possibly survive to go forward. Why are you still spelling meant incorrectly? I explained this a couple of weeks ago, so what gives here? It's a 3rd grade word man, show me you can learn or I have to assume you can't. Which explains why discussions with you go absolutely nowhere.

OK, I admit it, I don't give a flying crap how you choose to answer that last bit.

Weak dude. So you can't explain what kind of and who's agenda they're acting upon, just that it is so :p

There was segregation not far from here, not long ago. The guys I work with talked about it a lot. And we are not talking about 60 year old men.

Now there would still seem to be segregation because of how some schools get divided but it is always by financial district. And being that more often blacks are from poorer areas it can seem that segregation by color is taking place.

George Bush dosnt not care about black people.
George Bush didn't care about poor people.

I know there were doctor practices in the US that still refused black people in the 80's
Same here in the Netherlands. That's the only reason we have 'black schools'

I was actually in one of those poor districts when I was a kid. We lived in a low income apartment complex surrounded by half middle class half well off families. Our complex wasn't completely divided though it was about 25% white but it was still us against everyone outside of there.

This topic is better discussed in a separate thread (to be fair: same counts for the topic of racism and segregation of course, unless there's a direct link with the inauguration)

Asmo, I offered a link to noxiousgas, do read... not going to post a ton of links and do your research for you. Noxious gas took it and is probably doing just that. Researching. Maybe then you will have some knowledge on class segregation.

Like i said im perfectly willing to verify. You just assume and twist stuff. I was asking you if and how it got covered and what the general reaction was. I asked Dick what and who's agenda he was talking about. Then you project stupid stuff on me, like i am in denial and should just acknowledge what you say is going on there and that i am accusing Dick of being racist (he actually did that to me lol)

Not to you I can't. Come on already, we both know it's impossible for me to reach you. Why persist? I already told you that you won, what more could you possibly want? Should I quit the site as well maybe? Off myself? Become a heroin addict? What man, what will get it through to you that conversations between us are pointless? Take it like a winner, celebrate my bitter defeat at your hands.

My state put into place some pretty aggressive desgregatiom practices in the 60s that have probably changed now but were still in effect when I was in school.

I wasnt wealthy but i lived in proximity to some very wealthy neighborhoods and in elementary school instead of being assigned to an elementary school just a few minutes from my house I was assigned to a school in a predominately black, low income neighborhood. There were kids there who lived in multi million dollar homes and kids who were on the free lunch program.

My state also does something called the magnet program where it offers certain educational programs at schools in low income neighborhoods that kids assigned to other schools can apply for. The top rated school in this school district is a magnet school in one of the poorest, predominately black neighborhoods in the district. I hope to apply for my son to go there.

I kind out have to laugh when people try to stereotype the south in regards to racial issues because southern states were required by law to desegregate and you can see the results today, schools and neighborhoods are pretty diverse. At least where I live.

It's really depressing to see purposely segregated schools are becoming a thing once again. These kids who attend these schools might grow up to think segregation in the workforce is acceptable too. Transforming the culture to a world of segregation and gang mentality across different races and cultures.

I live extremely close to the Mason line but it's nothing like when I lived in jersey. Every town is similar to the next. No diversity at all. My particular town is as diverse as it gets. Over 75% of the people are white on the west side. Over 75% are black on the east side of the train tracks. But it's not like there are $100k houses on one side and $300k houses on the other side. It's just that's where people grew up and took over their parents house. If you aren't from here you would never know which side is the black or white side.

In jersey you didn't need a "welcome to middletown" sign...you knew when you entered a new town instantly. At least in monmouth county.
