I agree here, my way is simple though, don't do anything illegal and you won't have anything to worry about. I'm not into drugs or any other illegal stuff.
Yep, we can do or say whatever we want as long as it's not illegal. It seems like a simple enough thing for people to figure out, but a lot don't.
Then, again, perhaps depoisoned read it in another thread, where you said, when we were speaking about what kinds of reading materials should be available/accessible to children: and you blathered on, quoting Song of Solomon, which hardly compares to the Dean Koontz novel, "Night Chills," that we had been arguing about where: You = the above bolded text; and i = and you, of course, did not send me any names of these children who should be allowed to read just anything. Well, anyway, that might be where he got the idea...
Fyrenza, I would be guilty of negligence if i hooked you up with children... Keep posting, because you are the extreme case I always try to bring up when arguing for very strict protections that err on the side of free speech. Hardly anyone ever believes their arbitrariness can lead to extreme behaviors. When we are not guided by principle, we open the door to insanity.
i think bad words are one of the last things humanity needs to worry about. i'd use my brain power for more important issues.
my concern is for all the good words that get obliterated when zealots and the intellectually lazy make the rules.
How in the world you can turn: Free speech is one of our most precious freedoms, but i do not believe that children should be allowed access to just ANYthing. into me being some sort of zealot who wants nothing more than to keep good stuff away from all of society is... well... amazing, in a horrible sort of way.
