Independence day!

what gets me is that our political ancestors revolted for having to pay taxes to restock the treasury which was depleted when england waged (and won) a war on our behalf when we were still a colony - and that in fact the citizens in england were still paying more in taxes than the american colonists!

and all this shit about "taxation without representation" is a bunch of idiological hypocritical bullshit. for instance citizens of washington D.C. pay taxes like everyone else but are not represented in congress. and minors have to pay both income and sales taxes but have no vote. not to mention a lot of other screwy scenarios.

basically the country is very screwed up in a lot of ways, and these grievances of mine are the very least of them.

dont get me wrong, i do love my country, i love where i live and the people i associate with. there is a lot of good in the US, not just bad.

but i dont like an awful lot of things about it...

Also london but theres no smith and no independance day in England. All the english are still unfree from what I heard.
Only The scottish are free, since Wallace came with his Braveheart and free them.

actualy that pic was taken by rob savoye from www.welcomehome.org & that isnt the national gathering here but 1 of the international ones, this 1 was from ireland in 93 i believe
& thats actualy a smaller one

as for numbers, the guesses are always innaccurate & impossible to guess
usualy around 20-30 thousand but some times can get near 60 (at a guess)
its hard to say this year many were hesitent to go so far south, but also seems to be a huge influx of 1st timers this year as well, so it certainly might be a really big 1
the last 3 or 4 did seem huge (with the exception of west virginia)
& i think it will continue to grow over the years to come

Sorry, it is comparativaly eternal to us, but in the strict sense of it it goes away when eternity comes in, the few micro seconds that eternity exist, I eman when time cease to exist, so its a bit uncomfortable to tlak about microseconds there, but thats true anyway, as any length of time taken our of time and space is eternal.
So we are all eternal before we exist, when we exist in space and time, we aint eternal but what the hexk, we are alive, and we got a damn long time before going back to eternal state, like an eternity and an half if you ask me.
Which makes me thursty to drink a beer. Just the name.

It looks like dream land for me! you are all going to have a huge surprisingly fantastic and splendid time! Magic is happening right now as we speak in the universe and in a week from now, you are all going to feel as if you were somewhere else entirely, inside out, and beign there, will suit perfectly everybody.
I cna say that all that are coming there are in for a huge turn of event and once in a life time experience. At all levels.
