Sorry Ajay, but your missing the point of this thread.. it's about the treatment of Indian women. Thankyou for your input, but your starting to go off topic.. I guess you could add Muslim women, but the Australian massacres does not expand or add to the topic, sorry.
We are an ancient civilization which have survived to the present era when all other contemporaries have collapsed. As stated earlier, we have our challenges in the modern era, especially due to the huge size of the population, but we are dealing with it resourcefully in our own way. I have stated of how we have had a female president and prime minister. Nirmala Sitaraman was the first female finance minister for India who presented the finance budget this year. The Chandrayaan Space probe which was instrumental in detecting water on the moon, as well as the Mangalyaan or Mars Space Probe of India, which was the first space probe of any nation to reach Mars in its first attempt, showcases the fact that India has successfully wedded its ancient civilization to the modern era. Mars Orbiter Mission - Wikipedia Interestingly you can find that a number of lady administrators and scientists were involved in the success of Mangalyaan. The women scientists who took India into space In the present ongoing Chandrayaan-2 mission, the leadership for the project is entirely led by Indian lady scientists and administrators. A mission designer and a data cruncher: Meet the women heading Chandrayaan-2 So the Indian government is obviously arming Indian ladies with responsibility and enabling them to conquer their challenges and career objectives in a systematic and steady manner, and raising their profile. Women in leadership positions is the best way, imho, to raise their dignity, confidence and skillsets in the world. How is that ! Are you saying that the Australian massacres did not involve indigenous australian women and children as well. There should be accountability on all sides.
Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others, is a nice adage to keep in mind. Rate of sexual violence against women has risen dramatically since 2012, ABS says

Ajay, when you post links, it's always good to read those links first. What I would love now, is for you to post your own thread on the topics your posting.. ie, rates of pay and education of the Indian people ..just an idea, your posting some fabulous links, but they are not related to this thread..
But you have not answered my earlier question .... "Could you outline some rational measures in which such help, as you put it, could be provided to women all over the world, no matter who or where they are !"
Ok, there could be more shelters for women, out reach programs.. do you know of the .. "is it because I'm a girl" society? They are trying to oust female genital attacks and butchering.. and it's working! They are high lighting the need for change.. this is just one. But women need a place to go to, without the knowledge of their husbands.
No I cant, and I wont, your being a pain now.. just leave the thread as your mucking it up.. thanks for your input, but most of it is troublesome, and irrelevant.. Can I ask what part of India your from?
We also have excellent cultural resources in this regard... In the Mahabharatha, the Avatar Krishna is seen protecting the princess Draupadi from being dishonored by the tyrannical Kauravas. Sri Ramakrishna considered all women and females to be the manifestations of the Divine Mother and to be treated as such. The feminine is considered to be Shakti, the dynamic aspect of the static Brahman or Spirit. In India we have numerous temples with goddesses highlighting feminine divinity. The monotheistic Prajapita Brahmakumaris who worship an incorporeal God, is the only spiritual organisation in the world led, administered and taught by women, as pointed out earlier.
Because I am a Girl - History Ajay, read this, and see what's being done by plan international, real people, helping real people!
But again, it has nothing to do with this topic... please stay on topic, or make your own thread.. This is about Indian women! Why are you avoiding the subject? Why do you show no real empathy to these women and children? General crime statistics have nothing to do with this..
You can say I am championing the cause of UK women as well and your own native cause ! With sexual offences doubling in three years, UK too obviously have some major work to do in this field. The antics of foreign minister Mark Fields also does not help the cause.
