His mother's premise that it will be his choice is false. I've talked with the Head of the Order of the Purple Heart and it's not his choice it's up to Walter Reed to reevaluate and decide on his active duty orders. It's wishful thinking on her part.

Because of the sensitive nature of the situation I haven't wanted to burst her bubble. Another question I never got answered was where his flack jacket was when he was wounded? Maybe if he makes it home when this is all over I'll take him out for a beer and ask him. He'll be twenty one or older by then.

I certainly will. I am aware of the sensitive nature of my questions. I am just hoping these young people can cope with the politics going on. And I am old enough to know that promises once made by politicians are not always kept. And I am just a little worried that the hero worshipping may backfire on those that risked the most and who were the least prepared for those risks.

I hope they can cope with the politics 'going on'. I think 'they' can have the perspective, not matched by many. If that turns out to be, not of of our liking, i think i'll still respect that they have every right to think any way they like.

it's not just america involved in this imperialism. it's also great britian and Israel. actually, the biggest sellers of this war are those in the Israel lobby. one thing's for sure, we never had any enemies until Harry Truman and the Un forced the existence of the political state of Israel on to the world and it's been one big liability ever since. it's mainly Israel and her supporters that are pushing for the invasion of Iran, and nearly every presidential candidate is calling for invasion of Iran. inclouding the false prophets Guiliani, Clinton and Obama. Ron Paul is one of the few candidates that was against the invasion of afghanistan and the war in iraq, and guess what kids? he's a republican!
