Pay attention to what?! You can't point me at a post I've made where I've claimed to be Christian because I've never made one. And as to staying on topic, I've followed the debate as it has developed. You have barely posted on topic and your posts are almost all interchangeable.
This is utter self-delusion. Your repeated assertions that I am Christian would, in my opinion, point to a supreme arrogant belief that only Christians would disagree with you. You feel that I cannot be an atheist because I see value in God and do not wish to share in your rather tiresome ill-informed lies and diatribes. I have explained my position in the clearest way I feel I can, and you have systematically failed to actually respond to it, but simply accused me of lying or deluding myself. You are attacking me personally on an issue which is actually irrelevant to any thread you have raised it in. You and wbld, if you are even different people, have both accused me of being "all over the board" purely because I am unwilling to hate Christians simply because I am not one myself or to write lies and idiotic rants about them because of a juvenile inability to live and let live. I would ask for an apology, but I know you will simply continue to ramble and slur with impunity. I have no idea why your presence in this forum is even tolerated, given your clear and practically-admitted status as a troll.
I wouldn't worry about it anymore, you were as reasonable as possible; in a way they hold their blind convictions much like several of the aparent infected.
Why are you avoiding answering my question? Responding to the question "why are you posting off topic?" with "oh you can do it but I can't?" (followed by your by-now signature lie about my religious affiliation) does not constitute an answer. I would like to know why you are posting off-topic. Committing hypocrisy (i.e. posting off-topic and off-tangent!) in the course of accusing someone else of hypocrisy is hardly befitting of someone who is clearly convinced of, and constantly asserts, his superiority over others.
I know, I know. I just want to make him work for his superiority fix. He's convinced himself that Christian beliefs are ridiculous because they're not based on anything that is physically evidence, while at the same time accusing Christians of being delusional. It's ironic because pretty much every canonical postmodern thinker has challenged the definition of mental illness as having no working diagnosis or theoretical basis - in other words, that mental illnesses only exist because we say they do - in other words, because we BELIEVE in them. It also amuses me that, despite his claim that Christianity is bad because it is a delusion, he doesn't go after other religions with anywhere near the same vigour. Hard not to interpret that as him in fact just having a personal axe to grind against Christianity - but of course, that wouldn't be very rational or logical, would it?
It cannot be proven that God does or does not exist, since we lack the capacity to see beyond what He is supposed to have created. While it may seem absurd to believe in something purely because it cannot be disproven, it would be arrogant to discount the possibility either.
What is your point? We have no proof that the Bible is scientifically or historically accurate, nor any particular reason to think that it is likely to be.
No, I do not, because I am delusional, remember? I cannot possibly comprehend your point because of my mindvirus. You must have said something else that I did not understand.
I am just confused as to how a delusional victim of the Christian mindvirus could possibly understand your point. You seem certain that I have understood, despite saying that I lacked the comprehension skills and intelligence to debate previously. Am I, as I have suggested previously, only delusional when I disagree with you?
So it's just coincidence that you cease to assert that I am delusional at the exact moment that you agree with something I have said? I just want to be clear on the nature of the mindvirus of which you have diagnosed me. It seems very complex.
Well, obviously any sane person would want to know what they were going to be asked to do before they said that they were willing to do it. Please tell me what it takes to be cured and I'll tell you whether I'd be willing to do it. Or does your cure only work if I agree to do whatever it takes without knowing what that is? I just want to be clear.
Any sane person would want to know what is involved in a cure before they agree to it. I would want to know what is involved in a cure before they agree to it. I have this in common with sane people. It's idiotic to ask why someone believes they're sane; plenty of crazy people are convinced of their sanity, so it wouldn't prove anything. As for your "cure", I am suspicious. Are you saying that it would not work if you divulged your "closely guarded secrets", or do you just not want to reveal them?
No, it is your faith that fails you, along with your inability to understand that we are all conntected to each other, to this Earth, and to the entire universe. That, we are stardust, meaning we are mear sparks from the big bang. In a sence, we are all still that very same force....and that force is God. God is everywhere, in you, me, plants, animals, even bacteria. God is that which allows you to experience this universe in your own way. TO try and convince yourself that there is one supreme land lord of this universe is simply put...retarded.
