but the thing is the scale changes, it's adaptable it is still a relative scale the flynn affect apparently was put together by someone who was taking the system differently than it is one is only being compared against people ones own age in all reality, so the very nature of that effect is a broken idea for the modern I.Q. test I don't know if I'm explaining this clearly basicly, 1000 people are tested all the same age, 990 are going to fall below 140, the remaining ten all fall above 140 in a tapered manner, one might be above 150 where the rest of the nine are scattered about now the thing is it is calibrated for this generation because we know the results and we know the shape of the bell curve if too many start falling far above average the test is recalibrated the test I took would be completly different from the test they are administering now (assuming mr. flynn had any information correct at any point) now that being said, in the past, far past that would have been accurate when the thing was first built you were comparing people of different ages and you were using those comparisons only to find out how mentally retarded someone may have been, it wasn't originally built for above and beyonds, but the thing is it was retooled things can be retooled, it happens, traffic lights are constantly being tweaked to achive optimal times out of particular roads (if you have good civil engineers) it's all the numbers, have faith on the numbers and they will smile on you.....
