I think there are select few people where dreads just don't look good on them.. Now talking about fucking with dreads this girl waxed and messed with her dreads for 7 months, and a little bit of proof that sometimes that shit doesn't make your dreads look any better. She is also annoying and I can never make through a whole video... lol

I dont know what it is about this girl..but she is hot to me..lol. she has some hot natural dreads https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99ynHVuGMG4"]YouTube- secret animal things (3 months of dreads!)

Edit: She used the twist and rip method, so its not "neglect" but Natural is such a generalization..idk

I think it's her spontaneity that gets to me, mostly because I am that way to haha. I hope I'm not called annoying though >.>

Her dreads do look badass for 3 months, I do agree. I'm coming up on a month, got some matted hair, some babies starting to form, can't wait to post pics

that reads like you are insulted for women everywhere lux, she is clearly an idiot yank or attempted yank poshy who is trying to be "different" from all her friends by getting her dreads, she wont reach 6 months, cause the boys wont like them and the mad itchies will start

lol..wow, didn't think there would be such malice towards her..part of the reason I am going through with dreads is because, well...it IS different. Basing your reason just on being different, is a poor reason, but a reason at that. I don't think dreadlocks are really for closeminded people, because they are so opinionated about things out of their element. In this case that would be dreadlocks, so yeah..I'd say we aren't closeminded and are set apart because we think and act for ourselves aka being different..I, for one, hope she continues her journey and keeps it up, the same goes for others with dreadlocks, whatever the reason may be. Cheese and rice to those who aren't closeminded :)

i hate the term dreads in general, but especially when they are used on immature knots. i make an effort to use the word "locks". we have had this convo before in the forum, just don't feel like going into my reasoning, other than the fact that, most people (even those with mature locks) do not have dreads. but, it's just my opinion.

Cata, you're being philosophical right? not speaking from experience? you have a shaved head don't you?
I'm going to say, "I got some matted hair". When someone comes up to me and asks, "Hey are those dreads?", I'll respond with, "No, just matted hair"
