Yeah, I'm sure anyone who's likes Classical music knows about Tchaikovsky, but he's definitely worth listening too. He was the greatest composer to ever live besides Beethoven and Mozart, in my opinion. What was the name of that one composer I'm thinking of? He wrote that one song "Canon".. I can't believe I forgot his name. I love that song so much, I play it all the time on guitar, along with Fur Elise by beethoven, which very well could be THE most famous Classical song ever written.

I have a lot of respect and admiration for that great Russian composer though, and he's a BIG influence in my music-writing.

Pachelbel's Canon in D? Great piece of baroque writing .

I love Pyotr Illych as well but if u're going to go for a ballet then it's gotta be Swan Lake over Nutcracker! Also try his Serenade for Strings of course. My two fav Tchaikovsky's!
