i'm trying to figure out what i want to do computer-wise...

starting school again in january, and my laptop isn't going to cut it. the screen is all fucked up, and it's just getting to be too slow. not sure if i want to get myself a desktop (i have a good monitor already), or another laptop. or maybe a decent desktop and some sort of tablet. i'd love an iPad but it seems like more of a toy than anything useful for school.

any advice from fellow stoner students?

Sometimes I find it quicker believe it or not I can fax something give 10 mins then call to make sure the have received the fax.

i prefer desktops when i'm at home, but sometimes it's nice to have a laptop at school. but i do tend to take most of my notes by hand, and the school has computers available in all of the libraries now.
