i was out of coffee for starters...

septic guy showed up finally and we couldnt find the access[i did now].....

.i actually decided that the toronto trips[yesterday there and back in 12 hours]are way too stressful and hard on me...i fucking hate toronto now...it is far from the toronto 40 years ago...kingston is like toronto 40 years ago...even 60 years ago.

i will be staying east of cobourg for awhile

 

toronto sucks to get to or from, and to actually get around toronto once you get there is a nightmare. i'm making my toronto friends come to me this weekend for that reason.

what a day so far...trying to protect my kids rights....fucking full time job.....i hate how adults try and push kids around and bull shit them....

this reminds me, I sent a picture of my dogs missing nuts to the city controller. gonna try an tell me I dont have proof my dog is neutered.

 

Today's the last day i'm able to call the university to switch programs before the deadline, since i'm working during all of their open hours after this... Still have not a clue of what i want to do! I decided to look into some of the trades programs they have, none are really that great... So i'm still thinking of getting my Bachelors of Arts degree.. i just don't know what kind of job you can get with that? I simply want taking it because it interests me, which is kind of stupid? I don't know

I think it'd be cool to own my own business one day... But, business classes are boring as hell, and from what i've learnt with highschool, i fail every class i'm not interested in... I really want to take philosophy and writing classes, as useless as they may be... lol

But here's another option.... Lately i've been getting offers from my cousins that are also in university, to move up to Alberta with them because they have an extra room... my cousin, his girlfriend, and my other cousin, all live there... I think it would be really fun, i get along with them and they smoke weed.. it'd be a blast i think. Except... my girlfriend? If it weren't for her i would move there without a second thought.. but i can't just leave her to go move, i've been with her for way over a year now and she's been one of my best friends long before that as well.. And i know she won't move out there, she just started university here and i doubt her family would allow her to leave..

So many difficult life changing decisions lately, i miss highschool already lol...

 

or maybe i could just wait another year... stay at work, save up my money... but i hate work, i always look forward to starting university so i don't have to work full time anymore.. Hm..

I really just want to get through this year, next summer is going to be amazing... I'm going to be leaving for a month or two to europe and just travel around there, i've been planning this for as long as i can remember, and as of next summer i'll finally be 19 and have a lot of money saved up and able to do it... I for some reason feel as if i want to do that first, then begin school when i have a better understanding of what i want to do with my life... yet at the same time, i'm so eager to just start now... i'm very impatient lol

p.s. this isn't me bitching or complaining like the majority of you think i always do apparently... i just like to write out my thoughts and whatnot... and i like to write them here in hope of some sort of advice that could help, usually it does help.. a lot of decisions i've made have come from you guys lol

 

go to school man. if you don't like it, then don't go back for a second year. it gives you a chance to meet new people who are interested in the same shit as you, and gives you a chance to learn more about the world and about yourself. if you don't know what to take, just take anything that sounds interesting for the first couple of semesters and see what you like.

That's true, i would really like to do that, the only reason i'm hesitant is because it's all coming out of my own pocket... i have no student loans or scolarships, my parents never put any savings aside and don't really have the money for it now, so i'm pretty much going to be paying for it all and classes are $500 each.. even if i just take 2 courses this semester, that's $1,000.. for only 4 months.. a part of me still thinks it's a huge waste of money, especially for the classes i want to take

what are you taking in university?

 

i'm going back to school in january part time to study political science, and then transferring into criminal justice and public policy (if all goes according to plan - i might stay in political science or move to something completely different. could you go to school part time and stay at your job? working 30 hours/week and taking 2 courses is manageable, especially first year courses.

Ah i see, i'm actually accepted into Criminal Justice right now and am supposed to be starting in January as well, but lately i've been wanting to switch over to Art studies... But yes i'd still go to work most of the time, just a little less than i do now

The reason i applied for Criminal Justice is because (i know, i might get a lot of hate from this ) i wanted to be a cop. I still would like to be one. I simply want to be one because i think it would be a fun job, one i would look forward to going to, and obviously i wouldn't be one of those dick cops that bust people for weed and shit lol... I think i'd be such a chill cop, one of the ones that people get busted by and think "damn, am i ever lucky i got that cop" haha... I just don't really want to work for the government, nor be drug tested...
