I've been so focused on what classes i want to take in university, so focused that i entirely forgot about how i'm supposed to pay for it all...

My parents never set any savings aside, never got any scholarships, and never applied for student loans (i don't think i'd want a student loan anyways..) so all the costs of university will be coming directly out of my own bank.

It's one of the cheaper universities too.. yet it's about $500 per class, and another $100 or so for the books... which is a complete rip off because classes are only 4 months long each, what a waste of money... And each 4 year program has about 40 classes in it... that's $24,000 including all the book fees and whatnot, give or take a bit... I don't know how i'll afford that, especially because i dont want to be living at home for the next 4 years.. how do i afford to move out, and pay for university? Especially since once in university i can only work part time then... and i only make $1,400 a month now, part time would probably be around $700 a month...

As time goes on, i'm beggining to be less certain about going.. i still have no clue what i want to take, or what i want to do.. all i know is, that's a lot of money i could use towards better things... What can university teach me that i cant learn about on my own? The internet has all the information i'll ever need... the only difference is that stupid little peice of paper that means nothing, a diploma..

 

if you think the internet will be your resource for future you are just kidding yourself....

take 1 course and scope out the others for next semester and work at the same time to get more dough

 

you can learn to make meth online..

This girl i thought i was going to have a chance with is now engaged. A big wow out of nowhere, so thats that. lol....

Then today a girl at my work who always gets off right as i start said 'see ya' and looked back as she said it in that good way...so now its round two...so wednesday ill ask her if she wants to do something...

This first girl getting hitched is actually a good thing... because this second girl is more attractive (i love brunettes) first girl was blonde.

 

I don't know what you guys are talking about because everything is on the internet. All the books they give you at the university, are on the internet. All the lectures they give you, you can find similar ones on the internet. If you have a question, instead of raising your hand you google it. Same thing.

I was only saying, there's nothing they can teach you at a universe that you can't find on the internet, so university in my opinion is a huge waste of money. Except, you need it, but only because of the diploma. You can be way more intelligent than somebody, but if you two both apply for the same job, odds are he/she'd get it rather than you because they wasted 1,000's of dollars on a piece of paper. Even though you may know more than them, they'd most likely get the job anyways. Which i think is retarded.

 

no.. really everything is not on teh internet. unless you pay for it.. most advanced text books cost$$ memberships ect.. to open up. you may read some documents and text books but not all for free,,

 

There's something to be had from going to college and getting laid a lot though.
