The point I think is that Stev90 is more flaming than trolling. L O is starting a load of posts (not this one admittedly though) and then doing nothing to try and argue against any points made against him. Thus implying that he might just be a troll trying to wind everyone up.

The sad thing is that there are plenty of Iranians who look toward The West as a good place and who want friendly relations with us.

The good citizens of Iran are being subjected to a ruling junta that ignores them in favor of gamesmanship with The West. The Iranian economy is poorly run and is in shambles.

The Junta is being provacative in order to drive a wedge between Iranian citizens and Western peoples. They hope to distract the people from the mismanagement of the economy.

There exists the potential for good relationship with a representative goverment of Iran as in the days before the junta.

Had our friends in Russia and China any good intentions toward us they would actively assist in diplomacy to contain Iran's nuclear programs. Instead Iran functions as a cats paw for these powers.

I am not sure what any sit down with the Iranians will acomplish, isn't this what the State Dept. is supposed to be doing all along anyway?

Getting back on topic. The Iranians shouldn't be allowed to have Nuclear energy unless they get rid of their President and allow the UN or United States to monitor their activities. If they refuse I say destroy the facilities and provide the Iranian people a true democracy.
