Is it ever right to use force to overthrow the government?

In a true Democracy, which is what many citizens appear to feel the U.S. is, then anything, including the use of force to overthrow the government should be acceptable, IF, half the population + 1 are in agreement.

 

Considering that people can't agree on anything and the fact that there is always someone that is willing to sell out for personal gain,this is a moot point.

Also one will be hard pressed to find an army,anywhere in the world willing to take on the U.S. military,let alone a bunch of civilians with shotguns.
