I was taken to a museum on a date once... ended up marrying the guy. If she is into the stuff at the museum, she will appreciate the fact that you took the time to learn what she is into. If she isn't, well... maybe you aren't all that compatiable? I mean, you like museums, so you should probably look for a girl who likes them too.

If she turns up her nose then she's probably not into museums... which means she may not be the right girl (unless it's just a roll in the hay you're both after, in which case, who cares what who likes ).
