8-year-old shot, killed by his 5-year-old brother in 'tragic accident,' Arkansas sheriff says | National | azdailysun.com
Connecticut man pulled gun on two women who didn’t thank him for holding door open: police Joshua Murray, 25, has been charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, two counts of second-degree breach of peace and interfering with a police officer, the Hamden Police Department announced Sunday.
Great video, I’m the majority Mark Robinson (American politician) - Wikipedia In April 2018, Robinson attended a meeting of the Greensboro City Council, where they debated whether or not to cancel a gun show in the wake of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Robinson spoke in favor of gun rights, and video of his speech went viral after it was shared on Facebook by Mark Walker.[8] He was invited to speak at the National Rifle Association's annual convention that year.[9][10]
The problem is many of these mass shootings are committed by this guy's majority, that is law abiding citizens. Second of all, and I'll say it again as for some reason many don't understand....his majority never had the right to own a gun until 2008. Next he thinks the police can't deal with gangs so he thinks vigilantes should do that little chore instead of addressing the problem of why we have gangs and helping the police do their job more effectively. He's paranoid, gangs are going to break into his house...wonder how many times that's happened since he gave this speech. LOL, then we get the old "loonies from the left" speech. He likes "sport" weapons...like AR 15s and AK 47s. He claims they have no relation what so ever to the military! An AR 15 is just a little ole .22 semi auto rifle, you can't hurt a flea with that thing! And again he doesn't know the history of the 2nd. He thinks the 2nd was written so that the majority could own guns. Lastly he has no idea that we live in a Republic, where the majority don't rule, that would be a classic Democracy. Then we have this chick...get this....if you take away assault weapons the ones who own other types of guns will be more prone to injure ...wait for it........themselves! So by giving everyone assault weapons, when they choose to shoot someone, they don't have to worry about a self inflicted injury because they lost control of the gun because it lacked a pistol grip!!!! You can't make this stuff up....I don't have time to watch more of this drivel.
Why don't they take the guns away from the criminal element. Because they are in cohoots with them. In Baltimore anyway.
Depends on the reason they give for owning a gun. The guy in the video thinks gangs are going to break into his house and the police can't protect him. So he needs a gun.
I am sure you have all watched this on the news, but just in case some of you may not have Armed bystander shot and killed mall shooter in 15 seconds | wthr.com At 5:57:03 p.m., Elisjsha Dicken, an armed bystander, fired on the shooter from 40 yards away, according to police. Within 15 seconds from when the shooting began, Dicken fired 10 rounds hitting the shooter as the shooter tried to retreat into the bathroom but collapsed and died. Dicken had no police training or military background, according to police. He was carrying under the new "Constitutional Carry" law and did not have a permit. Police said Dicken learned to shoot from his grandfather and that he had no military or police training. "His actions were nothing short of heroic. He engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun. Was very proficient in that, was tactically sound and as he moved to close in on the suspect, he was also motioning for people to exit behind him," Ison said about Dicken's actions. "Many people would have died last night if not for a responsible armed citizen that took action very quickly within the first two minutes of this shooting."
Concerning the above post; an article from CNN is attached where Jill Filipovic seems to find fault with " The Good Guy with a gun". Opinion: Good guy with a gun? Indiana and Uvalde tell us all we need to know - CNN
from #2203: I'm asking you to define where it is illegal to carry a gun after the latest SC decision and why you think only illegally cared guns are the only ones involved in shootings. Well in New NY/ NJ guns are always prohibited all over the place, any place. Any private property. Remembering when a state trooper from far away was a tourist who got busted with his service revolver because the issued ammuniion has hollow point bullets. A State Trooper busted with his service revolver! in NJ. I did not see anyone in Jersey "carrying" untill I was over 50 years old. It was a military servicemember. as to illegal handguns, its an issue with law enforcement, remembering Bill Bratton making the point. We do not need anyone with any assault weapons anywhere, enen gun hobbyists should get behind the ban, now. The campagain against assault weapons seems to be as much a search for deplorables. Regular gun people seem all buttoned down, straight, serious, they do not make for the political cartoon villans that assault weapons people do.
