We kind of are We know that the universe is bigger than our brains can imagine and it's only one of more other universes than our brains can imagine, so what we think of as reality is less real than things that our own imaginations create in terms of the actual scale of existence which is some pretty fucked up shit yo!
i think reality may be classified as a dream, or as a step in our continuing lives. Perhaps there is a metaphysical aspect behind this, dualism even. another spiritual world in my belief.
We have to dream because the dream we live in is that powerful. It gets annoyed with us and forces our minds to submit.
Then wake up the mob of you, and face the world of reality in which you live. Drop a rock on your foot; you didn't dream that pain matey, it's real. You, the mind/spirit that is developing in that body from the information taken in through the senses of your body, will still exist after the body has returned to the universal elements from which it was created, but what will that disembodied mind experience then? Only dreams matey, only dreams, but will they be dreams of torment and a fearful expectation of what lays ahead, or will they be restfull dreams of peace as you await the resurrection? What's the reward that a mind receives? Surely it is, what that mind believes So the mind that rejects eternity When freed from its body, where will it be? What is that body, which gave to you Birth? Is it nothing but elements taken from earth? Or was it created from the spirits and souls Of your ancestors who, are from times that are old? Believe as you will, but remember this verse When your coffin is placed in the back of the hearse The reward that the mind must surely receive Is that which the mind, (Not in the Hearse) believes.....By S-word.
Trippy I had a friend believe that. He thinks when you die whatever you believe will happen happens. I hope it's true cause then I would go into nirvana I picture it as infinite bliss infinite energy infinite consciousness basically experiencing all of infinity at once and constantly for eternity.
First you must believe that you will continue to exist after the umbilical cord that connects you to this three dimensional world is severed. Then when you come to the realisation that you are disembodied and have no senses through which to gather any more information and have not applied yourself/mind to the problem of how to make connections with other minds, I think in your aloneness surrouned by the nothingness, you might be too bewildered to dream of your nirvana, and will be more concerned with that which lays ahead for you, 'Life,' or a slow disintergration into the nothingness that surrounds you, which is the second death. The one thing that you wont have to worry about, is that the hell of your mental torment will last forever, for the mind that cannot rest in death, will die.
I often have wondered if anything we see,do,feel, etc IS REAL!!!!!! Our mind shapes reality,WHO KNOWS!!?!?!?!?!?
There's nothing out there but a cosmic cloud of wave paticles, which are not really particles at all, as they have Zero mass, and no eclectric charge and yet carry angular and linear momentum, which are the quantum of the liquid like electromagnetic energy that was spewed out in the trillions of degrees at the moment of the Big Bang. Of course they may been attracted to each other and formed sub-atomic particles, which themselves were attracted to each other in the creation of the Atoms, from which the molecules are created by the gathering together of the atoms, from which molecules all our galaxies and everything thing in them were created, which galaxies are being gathered in toward a Great Attractor, into which this cluster of galaxies will be torn apart, molecule by molecule, atom by atom, sub-atomic particle by sub-atomimic particle, as this universal bubble disappears into the great Abyss/Black hole from which the liquid like Electromagnetic energy will be spewed out in the trillions of degrees at the moment of the Big Bang that begins the resurrection of this universal body. But like I said, there's only a cosmic cloud of invisible wave particles out there, that through your created senses, you perceive as this universe, take away you sense of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, and nothing will exist for you, but "YOU", a mind/spirit in total isolation.
I think it could be a dream, or figment, A wise one said "everything material is a dream from somewhere that is so powerful it becomes solid and in three dimensions then include a fourth dimension it becomes a dream within a dream and so on to infinity". fun to think about...
The entire shimmering Comic cloud is but the eternal evolving mind in which, we are but dreams. It is not you who dream the cosmos into existence, it is the cosmic mind that dreams you into existence.
Thats what I think. I thought a lot about it and that is the only way god could exist. We have to be its dreams. Buddha means awake. When you wake up from all its dreams you become the source which is described in the oldest philosophy on the planet the Upanishads which describe the Ultimate Reality as Sat-Cit-Ananda which means truth bliss consciousness.
