Salmon4me - You say "she can go to the grocery store while I play video games or work on cars". I could not treat my woman like that. It is a co-equal relationship - we each are helpmates, complimenting the other.

My lady got back into town recently from a long trip, and a neighbor saw me go up the elevator with a cart full of groceries - and I told him my girlfriend was getting back into town, so I bought some groceries for us. He said something very nice - "There are hundreds of women here in town looking for guys like you."

I don't feel feminized because I get the groceries once in a while rather than play video games or work on cars (I would not be caught dead doing either of them, anyway).

This is 2007 - women are not slaves for their man.

He has been better lately but I noticed that as I feel better he is getting lazy again but it could be that he has a bad cold this week. Only time will tell.
