the youtube on the OP was absolutely crappo.

they just changed the hue over the whole picture continuously.

and that ghost thing that came over teh tree? nah it would be encorperated into something in the environment, not some overlay on top of the signal originating from your eyes.

but shrooms has much better visuals imo.

 

I think that you could show lsd visual interestingly by first making a flash sequence animation that depicts a sober point of view of some episode. then, recount that episode from the person'a actual viewpoint. that is, tripping. but youd have to be a sweet animator to do an acid trip/.

the point of using flash however, is because if the audience is relating the experience to reality, any depiction wont work. but if you 'apply' the acid trip affect to a reference point that is a cartoon, it will be more believable when your animation abilities do not accurately depict a real LSD experience
