The answer to that question is irrelevant because it is the perception of our experience that is real!

    our minds permeate reality.

but if we are talking about what is real or not then you really need to define 'real'

whats up peoples iam new to this forum so helloo lol....time is real but simply thats just because we dont know what else to call it,,,time is just a concept made up by man to keep everyone from basically asking questions about shit....calling it change would be the exact same thing except we would be able to have such a "cool" schedule around it to keep all of us in line.....our whole is existence is very weird but i think weird is intresting so boooyah!

Einstein said something along the lines of "time exists insofar as clocks are concerned." Clocks do what they do by changing the movements . Change is defined by the movement of matter. Both Time and Change are just words which we have associated meanings to. Call it change, call it time, call it bullshit. At the end of the day it remains the same thing it was before we created a word for it.

Didn't understand this poll, so selected the question 'Have you ever taken LSD?'; the answer being yes.

It seems like your more interested in switching the word TIME with the word CHANGE.

This makes no sense for many reasons, the first being that it would cause unneeded confusion in many people.

Another reason is that "Time" is not a tangible thing it is an expression used by what we KNOW to be intelligent being's to measure perceived existence.

If we substituted Change over time what would we consider to be actual change?

What about before the earth was formed? No humans = no change?

Well if you believe that time is just a word and not an actual process it would seem logical to say that if there were no intelligent beings to document it time itself does not exist.

Unless your one of those people who thinks rocks and water and other non sentient matter is capable of "keeping time".

Time in a way could be described as the anti-thesis to logic, in that we know it exists but can only document it by watching it's effects on the world around us.

Without sentient beings time would still exist, basically it just wouldn't have anyone to acknowledge it's passing. :D:p:piggy:

Time is in fact not a linear, it's a byproduct of said reality, and said reality can take on numerous planes of existence, and several realities in itself from person to person. And it is impossible to in any exact or specific moment in time since time has no start nor end hence any way to measure it is just arbitrary

Plain and simple, time is just what you make of it, and you have all the time in the world, but don't let it slip by. Take chances, take risks....hell, jump in a car with a few good friends and drive far away with no destination. Don't get tied down by how society views time. It's your life, make with it what you will. Spend your time being yourself, not what you "should" be.

time is subjective, and can be slowed down and even stopped. Traveling at high velocities close to the speed of light completely shatters Isaac Newton's concept of absolute time.
