I had the 4 deer here last evening doing the weeding in my back yard... :2thumbsup:

 

stupid dog decided to explore walk in closet . but failed to realize bi-fold door will lock fold behind him. he must of been in there a while.

 

for some reason the deer don't come onto my actual property....they come right up to the edges but almost never onto my lot

 

wish I could get this rider mower on the CL. the deer only come so close here. but within range.

 

ya riding the mower over a deer would be good fertilizer

 

that reminds me...I must sharpen the blades on my mower{

the 19 year old was 1- breaking the law, as he was not 21. 2-he deliberately ignored the instructions (not to eat the whole fucking thing) and his "friends" allowed him to continue.

the murderer was not just using pot. the asshat that caused absinthe to be banned drank wine all. fucking. day. topped it off with 2 glasses of absinthe, and went home and murdered his family. lets blame the last thing he had, not the raging alcoholic he was the rest of the day. this guy was hopped up on pain killers, but it must have been the mj candy... right. ill believe that.

there is also no accounting for stupidity. i have a couple of mj lollipops, i have had them for years, they are mostly for emergencies. i dont eat the whole thing. friend of mine has crohns, she cant smoke, and has trouble getting edibles because of idiots like in the story. she was getting little tootsie roll type candies, and she cut them down into smaller doses.

they still did not OD on pot. if the 19 y/o had friends who gave a shit he never would have made it out a window, and he certainly would not eaten so much. he could have been locked in the bathroom, or, get this, when he started acting funny they could have called for help. its just like with underage drinking, no one wants to call 911 if a teen has alcohol poisoning, because they could get in trouble. because trouble is so much worse than DEATH. its stupid.

these people OD'd on stupid, and there is no penalty for that. people have been getting high and doing stupid shit for a long time, you cant just blame it now. you surround yourself with responsible people you wont get so high you jump out a window (like than never happens with other drugs, or with alcohol, right?) you make the responsible decision to wait until one medication wears off, you make the decision not to mix medications. we all make choices, we all take certain risks, but stupidity really makes those risks greater. the edibles are medication, most of the time. a smart person has a little bit, and waits, knowing that it takes about 30 minutes to feel the effects. you should not do any drug without knowing how it works, and what side effects can be expected. you cant smoke enough to get that high. my parents always warned me against man-altered things. alcohol occurs naturally, but distillation does not, coca leaves occur naturally, cocaine does not. shrooms you pick and clean, and dry. lsd is not so simple. which is more likely to fuck you up? butter and candies are not naturally occurring, and you can not know how concentrated they are, nor how they will affect you, and if you ignore the advice of the person selling it, then you are dumb.

stupid people will ruin it for all of us.

who here likes maps? im a huge fan of maps. all kinds. topographic maps are cool, once you learn to see the features. i love the satellite view maps. hubby got a shirt at a concert, when he brought it home i immediately recognized it as a highway map. and a fantasy book with a map is a great thing, gives a depth to the story i think is hard to accomplish otherwise.

i think electronic maps are cool, and convenient, but everyone should be able to use a paper map well. do they still teach that in school?

 

I remember once I was in the back of a taxi and my driver was completely lost.I asked him for a map.Hardly any light,we were miles away from where we had to get to.But I managed to locate our position and gave him directions.We got there! I was kind of proud of myself that day.

junior knows about maps and legends so school must have taught him that....I like maps too.....mothlov I will take a pic of the wall on the inside of the ferry terminal....they have a massive antique map on it of the island in the 1800s


I saw that there is a navigation app for phones at 49.99......I almost bought it

then I randomly was playing with siri....haha ,...he said ''playing with siri'''....anyway

siri has that feature......you gotta program addresses into your phone book or contacts and you can get turn by turn directions

 

doing the big clean again today.......slowly moving the mess to another room as I clean the current room

I saw a bunny yesterday when I was coming back from gym ran right in front of car...I didn't hit it luckily otherwise Easter would of been cancelled

 

oooooh an antique map! how cool im planning on making a map quilt, it will take ages so i havent started it yet.

my neighborhood is overrun by bunnies, i expect one of my pets will catch and bring me a baby soon, now that its warming up and the grass is growing, they love their salads. saw a big coyote the other day. im always surprised by how big they are.

 

Bunnies are sooo cute hopefully they run and hide from the coyotes...

The coyotes here are skinny .....
