Isn't this taking a lightbulb a bit too far?

    I'm thinking it's not far enough, as it still has a way to go. But at least there's some relief for that place where the sun don't shine.

    Well, you never know.. If I knew for a fact it would last 25 years, I'd use it.. Just to avoid changing them all the time...

    Depends on use of course..

    Let's see... Say the average buyer is about 30. They use the bulb an average let's say of 5 hours daily.

    There are 8760 hours in a year. So the bulb is good for 219000 hours.

    Now, the average person live to be 80 let say, so that's 50 years of having the bulb. In those 50 years you would use the bulb a total of 91250 hours.

    Hmmm.......
