I'm all for destroying and dismantling Hamas, and repaying them for their despicable, sickening, cowardly attacks that killed so many innocent people, of all ages, just a few weeks ago.

But......CANNOT another way be found to attack Hamas, without destroying Gaza and killing hundreds more innocent people, caught in the middle of all this?

God alone knows what the rapidly collapsing hospital/medical system is now going through, down to almost nothing, regarding fuel, medical supplies, food, and water.

    Haven't enough suffered?

Yes.......DESTROY Hamas by ALL means....BUT.....STOP the destruction and the killing affecting thousands of innocent people who are caught in the midst of a living nightmare............

Destroying Hamas is impossible because many young Palestinians who are not pro-Hamas lost their families and homes during the blind bombarding and are ready to join Hamas very soon. It is a great miscalculation of Isreili's government.

I also fear that many "good" Palestinians will join Hamas (here at home, and abroad) simply in retaliation for Israel's bombardment of Gaza.

Personally, with complex, subway-like Hamas tunnels spreading out in a vast network, I personally feel that trying to track down Hamas terrorists (and the hostages they are still holding) would be much atkin to hunting for the proverbial needle in a haystack.

NOBODY is winning this war; it is nothing but LOSSES on either side, with no end in sight................

Now, more and more "mainstream" Palestinians are joining the ranks of Hamas.

    More unceasing destruction and bloodshed.

I cannot fathom how attempting to wipe out a vicious terrorist group escalated into a truly senseless war, a war with no rhyme or reason, a war that is solving NOTHING, and only inflicting more damage, death, and destruction.

God help the world.....Hell is consuming us all............

About 12 millions of Palestinian are simpatic with Gaza residents plus millions of people all around the world including in American European and even in Isreal. According to a statistic review by one of the Israeli newspaper , the numbers of Israeli people who was agreeing to invade in Gaza reduce from %50 to %30 during the last week . Many of them are not agreed for further invasion and bombarding Gaza, because they are human and know more blood couses more blood. Mr. Nethanyaho and the rest of his cabinets should understand this point that they can never ever receive peace by fighting. I am sure many Israeli understand the reality.

The ruling class of both Israel and Hammas need war. By continuously stoking hatred, bitterness, and revenge with their tit-for-tat atrocities, corrupt war criminals on both sides can remain in power indefinitely.

    Taking Sides

    Today I am taking sides.
I am taking the side of Peace.
Peace, which I will not abandon
even when its voice is drowned out
    by hurt and hatred,
    bitterness of loss,
    cries of right and wrong.
I am taking the side of Peace
whose name has barely been spoken
    in this winnerless war.
I will hold Peace in my arms,
    and share my body’s breath,
    lest Peace be added
    to the body count.
    I will call for de-escalation
even when I want nothing more
    than to get even.
    I will do it
    in the service of Peace.
    I will make a clearing
    in the overgrown
    thicket of cause and effect
    so Peace can breathe
    for a minute
    and reach for the sky.
I will do what I must
to save the life of Peace.
    I will breathe through tears.
    I will swallow pride.
    I will bite my tongue.
    I will offer love
    without testing for deservingness.
So don’t ask me to wave a flag today
unless it is the flag of Peace.
Don’t ask me to sing an anthem
unless it is a song of Peace.
Don’t ask me to take sides
unless it is the side of Peace.

    From Orwell's "1984"...........

    "PEACE IS WAR-WAR IS PEACE"

    Welcome to Gaza, 2023.

The absolute insanity of this war defies comprehension...................

Beethoven the German musician says" wherever is silenced, the music gets place" but now, wherever is silenced war gets place. The life of many politicians depen on the tormul, they don't like to live in the peace, the leaders of Hamas, and Isreal need each other to survive, no matter who pays the price.

Recall the old folk tale of decades old-feud between the "Hatfields" and the "McCoys"?

They fought simply for the SHEER JOY trying to pick each other off with them thar "shootin' irons".

A few weeks ago, this war was SUPPOSED to be targeting HAMAS terrorists.

Today, it's nothing but senseless bloodshed, destruction, suffering, and chaos.

I only wish I were wrong, but I see this war continuing for a long, long time...........

Personally, I have long felt that, due to so much Islamic extremist terrorism, Jihad, Hamas, and unending violence, we forget that this area of the world, a quite ancient world indeed, is indeed rich in literature, culture, science, and fascinating history.

Disney's live-action version of "ALADDIN", a few years back, IMHO, served to educate both the young and the old of the rich and diverse culture of the Middle East, with no grim specter of terrorism or anti-Semitism whatsoever, to mar the rich portrayal of "historic" Middle Eastern heritage and culture.

Ever since the tragic and horrific attacks of 9/11 (I am a survivor) few, if any, think of anything even remotely connected to the Middle East, due to the grim echoes of that terrible day.

Terrorists have robbed so many of the will....and the desire.......to learn of the Middle East's heritage and culture.

Surely, there are indeed injustices and, often, intolerance in that part of the world (as is the case here at home, in many instances) but I think it most important to focus on the POSITIVE, and stop letting the NEGATIVE kill off our desire to learn, and to further broaden our horizons, regarding other lands, other cultures, and other peoples.............

Israeli speaker says " the main aim of ground invading to Gaza is releasing the hostages"!!!, how could be? It's a great fantasy.

"Nent-an-Yahoo" was quoted as saying, "this is going to be a long war".

I doubt any one of us is at all surprised to hear this........:(

Is there someone who asks Nethanyaho, if one of the 3330 kids who you liked them was your kid, will you order again to bombard Gaze.
Mr Netanyahu, just look at David's Star on Israeli flag, sham on you, definitely David is not happy with your ISIS barbaric attack.
One of my Israeli friends lost his family members and one of them is hostage, so how can you release the hostage?

It is just like the scourge of frequent, bloody mass shootings in this country; gun-mongers in power refuse to enact STRICT gun laws, but, I will say this: if, God forbid, a family member was gunned down by some trigger-happy maniac, I'll wager any amount of money that they will be lobbying for strict gun laws FAST.

    Back to Gaza:

Many world leaders are pleading for a cease fire, if only a temporary one.

These pleas, sadly, are falling upon stone-deaf ears.

Meanwhile, protests are growing more and more ugly in cities around the world, and even more innocent people are being killed in the ongoing rocket attacks, and anti-Semitism is become more and more violent and commonplace, especially on college campuses.

This situation is so hopelessly out of hand now, that it boggles the mind...........

Here's a thing I heard a guy say last night and it got me thinking more.

If we are not allowed to criticize the Israel govt, because that's said to be anti-semitism, are we actually giving that govt the power of a super-race such that it can do whatever it likes?

Just saw the news a mass (anti-Semetic) protest at a Russian airport, caused by rumor of a flight coming in from Tel Aviv.

The violent mob stormed the terminal, causing it to close.

With the war in Gaza ramping up by the hour, the growing tide of anti-Semitism is reaching the boiling point, both here and abroad.

College campuses as of late, sadly, have become hotbeds of anti-Jewish backlash.

NO ONE is winning this war.......NO ONE.................

It seems to me that the Israeli govt is behaving like a bully. Yes, the 10/7 was disgusting but Hamas (or other org) is the perpetrator - not the Palestinian population. (I'm not referring the the Israeli population here just their govt).
By bombing the wotsits out of Gaza, many innocents are being killed and it won't defeat Hamas. BN could set back Israeli interests (re the state) further than ever before.
I think so many demos worldwide would tend to back up my thought.
