My friends in Arkansas are determined to find someone to marry me... crazy kids Jess... ya think I fit in your truck? I theoretically can, but I would rather not because that will put me close to the battlefield if not on the battlefield itself.
man, thats sucky. i would be hate to be forced into the military. you do seem to have a positive outlook, even though this is a shitty situation.
But you are to beautiful to be in the army Pavel! I really must object. life is so strange. I hope everything turns out ok. Commune sounds nice.
Well don't get blown up. And if you do get enlisted, and a Palestinian kid happens to throw a stone at you, just throw one back, much friendlier than shooting him....
Man... I should just accept one of the marriage offers I get from friends in Arkansas... I just really don't think that they know what they are getting themselves into by marrying me and if they are truly serious Peace-Phoenix... I don't even kill insects, so I doubt that I will be able to shoot anybody.
Good luck to you pavel... Is Israel your only option?? Seems to me at 20 years old, you could get a work visa just about anywhere other than the US. What about Australasia? Florida climate, English speaking peoples....
those green card marriages can be a real pain in the ass, not just from the relationship standpoint. hell, one of our friend married a girl from australia and she says she had it easier on a visa.
wow, I had a feeling you were realizing that was the way it was going. I am super sad to hear about your situation but everything happens for whatever reason it happens. You are in my thoughts Yeah from what I have understood those marriages cause many problems. Besides you don't want to be in the hell of marriage.....better to be in the military
I still don't know why jews would want to live in a place where everybody on all sides wants them dead.
sheer stubborness and being sick of being pushed around all the time, probably. i know i'd dig MY heels in.
I cannot get a work or student visa or reapply for one while I'm in the states. I will have to go out of the country to my country of residence, being Israel. It would all be good if not for the mandatory draft. It's very likely that they'll pick me up right when I get off the plane. (Hopefully not, that would just be anoyying because I'll be dying for a cigg and would want to go outside as fast as possible). Greencard marriages are a hassle indeed. The girl who'd I marry will not only have to live with me for 3 years and prove it, but will also have to prove that she can support me financially. No one my age can prove that, and no one's parents would sign something like that for them. Anyhow, thank you all One really good thing about going to Israel is that I'll get to get to know my brother much better. We have a very good relationship, yet we just don't know each other than well because we've always lived in different countries. It will be nice to smoke a joint, have a beer and discover the person he is today.
Well, that sucks big time I just hope you'll be able to work for the radio/media or something like that of the Israelian Forces... Or a cooking job in the army ? Anyways, good luck
Cheers Hopefully I'll be able to do something education-related, or even being a translator or some crap like that.... as long as I don't have to be stationed anywhere near the boarder with anyone. It's not really my choice though... I could tell them that I would eat their children if they put me in a position which I don't like though... but I don't know how much good that will do, and their children might not taste good as it is.
When i married a Spanish citizen, granted not just a green card marriage, I made very little money, but my lawyer worked it out anyway...was not a big deal
