You case probably attracted less attention than mine would.

Student looses visa and then magically marries girl... this would make immigration hunt me... damn immigration, I get a mental picture of "The man" when I think of them. Or maybe that secret service guy in Taxi Driver.

 

I'm really sorry to hear all this, BSR.. I really enjoyed your posts a lot and goodness knows you won't be on here much when you're back over there and in the military

Although I'd probably take the prison sentence...but seriously, will they really draft you if you have an illness like that??? Are they really that hard up for soldiers?

They might not draft me, but that would fuck me up even more.

No one... not a single person hires anyone that has not served in the military in Israel. I have to serve, hopefully my illness will get me away from any battle-field or critical positions like that. I'd rather have them place me in a farm to teach cows English than to be the head of intelligence in Jerusalem. I want nothing to do with Israel's wars.

 

That sucks man. I am moderatly glad enough to be American not to have renounced my citizenship for Mexico yet.

Maybe you should just start looking for a sham wife? Just avowe eternal love and go through the long ass process of becoming a citizen.

I just can't bring myself to marry a girl just for citizenship, doesn't seem right. I'll be an American citizen in 4-6 years anyhow because of my mama... so, I guess I can wait.

Can't get a Visa through her, she is just in the process of getting her greencard herself through marriage... I will get a greencard through her in 4-6 year or so... we hoped that it would be quicker...but it's a long waiting list.
