It would be a great thing if all the communists were wiped out overnight

I lived in NYC for a long time. They deserve the mayor for whom they vote. The City will suffer if he is elected.

 

Right….Democratic socialism has provided a lot more happy and productive societies….Denmark, Portugal and Sweden for example, than either predatory capitalism…. US Republicans, or authoritative communism ….USSR. My grandparents lived the nightmare of the T golden age. Slave wages and working conditions, severed limbs and digits with no safety rules in the woodworking industry. The oligarchs lived in mansions and cruised on yachts meanwhile…sound familiar? Perhaps reading the works of economists like Lester Thurow and Robert Reich would expand your horizons.

 

Denmark became "Socialist" in the period of 1970s-1990s. Denmark was founded in the 10th century under King Gorm the Old. "Socialism" (or communism lite) had nothing to do with developing Denmark. They have only been running the country for 30+ years out of their 1,000 year history so, they have ownership of 3% of Danish rule. Similarly Portugal started in the socialist direction around 1974 with the Carnation Revolution. Portugal, in case you're interested, was founded in 1143 and king Henriques was its first king. So, commie/socialist management of Portugal is 3.4% of its existence. Sweden didn't become "socialist" until the 1970-1990 period (seems to be a theme with Scandinavia). Sweden was founded in 1523. So, 5.7% of Swedish rule has been commie/socialist. All these countries will eventually go bankrupt when they run out of "Other people's money."

FYI, Almost all of human history occurred before 1969.Fact.

What ONE good thing has communism created? We can ignore the 100+ million people it has killed for the moment.

Of course communism and socialism are not the same thing. The royalty that rUled much of Europe for so long is hardly an example of a shining light of a fair and just society. Oligarchy is hardly a shining light of successful government.

And it is the collective efforts of working people who generate economic wealth….not the few who because of inherited wealth pull the strIngs. The term “commie” is not useful in dismissing highly successful examples of democratic socialism. I grew up in Wisconsin and remember the ranting of our deranged Senator who indeed had no shame.

Many of our Indian societies provide a lot better for their tribal members than those off -reservation communities that have followed the extractive industries to empty towns. I also lived in a company town that had a long history of sketchy concern for its workers. And many Tribal Nations have a lot longer history than any example of royalty and have watched their sacred sites and culture turned into patios and parking lots.

The US employment rights, paid holiday allowances are about the worst in the western world ( compared to Canada and many European countries. ) The health system is also well below the standards of these other countries as well. The US compared to Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand and Canada is like a third world country.

 

Freedom in the free world always comes at the price of slavery. When the Berlin Wall fell, the price of freedom shot through the roof until, today, Donald Duck has declared war on Disney and the Muppets, making the damn commies look more appealing every day.

Just listing all the people that man is responsible for killing, will get you censored.

 

Please list those killed. Why would you be censored for telling the truth? On the other hand, the list of those killed by Communists during the 20th century is greater than 120 million and well documented (Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hussein, Castro, etc.).

 

Exactly, we have very good figures for how many people the commies have killed, but our own are heavily censored. I've already been censored, from every major search engine, which costs a few thousand dollars more to do.

The higher Wall Street climbs, the faster they censor everything. In Florida, they censored the common dictionary and encyclopedia, for containing graphic content.
