I have just returned home from the shops. People were social distancing, the shelves were full. I got my toilet paper- hooray

UOTE="Candy Gal, post: 8731324, member: 309277"]Of course they need to check you. Xxx[/QUOTE] Mmmmm - they need to check my alcohol content too !!!
Of course Candy darlin' - they usually pickle things that are dead in order to preserve them, that is a wicked waste of good booze, I intend to be 'pickled' before I die, not after it !!!
Local Dollar General has decided to stop letting people know when they're expecting the restock trucks for fear they'll be hijacked for butt wipes,,, On the bright side I was told when they start lining up to distribute t.p. twice a day at the Walmart but no clue as to when to show up for canned veggies which is ok as I have a couple months worth of beans and about an acre of wild mustard I could cook up in a pinch. And somehow one can still find ammo (which is good as I hear Javelina is pretty tasty)
this is 'merica! we like our beer watered down, our guns automatic, and our asses to have a slight shit odor at all times!
went to 99cent. the automatic doors are turned off and they're only letting fewer shoppers into the store then they have employees wiping down shelves. there's a lot of empty shelf space, and a few of my favorite items are awol, but there's still tons of enough different kinds of edible stuff. and when i got there, well there wasn't anyone else in line to get in yet, and only one shopper already in the store. i was going to go to tj's though, but it turns out they've shortened their hours and i was an hour and a half early for the new shorter hours, so i walked the several blocks over to the 99cents instead of waiting around that long. as for people grab and run or threaten and run, haven't seen any of that yet. but the buses were only one or two other people on them, and with no traffic to fight, would arrive at all their time points minuets ahead and wait for their schedule to catch up, and while waiting, the drivers would get up and start wiping everything down with disinfectant. not all of them were wearing filter masks but i was wearing mine.
