You know what really bugs me? That there is someone else who said absolutely.

There is some other sick bastard lurking who said yes, it is good to beat your wife.

I think this is all just a scam though. He put an email address to be replied to, and has only posted a few posts ont his forum. My opinion? He is trying to get someone else in trouble, the guy at that email.

in some states it is legal to beat your wife on courthouse steps on a sunday. you may want to check into that.

Verseau, I dont find this in the least amusing. I am entitled to my views just as much as any of you. in fact I didnt think this post would provoke such a strong reaction. Having said that I dont believe that I should be ridiculed and castigated like I am now . this is unfair treatment when all i did was air my views. Isnt that what a forum is for. However I understand that you wish to take a stand for what you belive in for whatever misguided reason.

 

OH cry about it. I bet, if you have a girlfriend, she cries about you doing that to her. What? Did you see your dad slap your mom around?

What if someone slapped your sister? Or your grandma? Or how about a niece? How would you like that?

i am not a fan of beating weaker people that generally can not put up a decent defense. this includes women. call me sexist if you would like but let us face the facts. ninety percent of all men can phyiscally overpower ninety percent of all women. i do however believe there are more than a few reasons that justify phyisical violence.

if i must. just to name a very select few i would say any time somebody threatened or wronged a member of my family through fraud or physical violence it is justified. i would say any time somebody else puts their hands on myself or somebody incapable of defending themselves it is justified as well. damaging my property. animal cruelty is another good one. any one of those things will lead to me rendering another person unconcious.

 

How exactly are we overreacting? A man comes on the love and sex forums, which actually, I'm not sure why you even chose this forum to post in, because you obviously don't really love your wife if you feel the need to beat on her, but anyway, you come on here, making a thread about abusing your wife, and you don't expect the fellow women here to be upset about it? Am I missing something?

i think you are missing the fact that abuse is abuse whether physical or verbal. calling him names and putting him down is verbal abuse. you can not teach against violence by being violent in any form.

 

He also posted the same thing in "Consumer Advocacy"...it certainly didn't belong there, either.

 

I do love my wife, very much and I dont abuse her. The odd reminder is all thats needed to make a loving marriage. Remember your vows girls. Love cherish and obey.

 

if my wife were to kick my dog in the face then quite possibly to be honest. i do realize this goes against what i have just said in my previous post about not teaching against violence with a form of violence however at that point it is not a matter of teaching a lesson it is a matter of retaliation.
