Silly me, I always tell people not to jump to conclusions, and here I was replying to a troll..... *is embarrassed*

 

My wife embarrased me at a dinner party one night and I had to straighten her out a little. Although I dont condone wife beating it certainly had the right effect. She's been as good as gold ever since and i see no future need to raise my hand again. Maybe this guy has a point.

 

A married couple are supposed to be a team, if she embarrased you then have a teamtalk with her and let her know you're upset with her. You picked her so you should accept her flaws. Hitting her is cowardice and wrong, you've frightened her out of being herself.

This guy doesn't have a point, if you don't like your womans characteristics then leave her.

There are very few excuses for beating your wife. What really bothers me tho, is the fact that a wife can fuck around behind your back and when she's caught she dosn't expect to get beaten. Maybe this cements the case for wife beating but only in extreme circumstances. My vote is a YES for the time being.

I have noticed that I'm not alone in my support for wife beating even if just a little. 17% of the vote says so.

I have returned as I promised. Was expecting the vote percentage to be a little higher in my favour but I suspect there are those of you who agree with me but have not voted yet. Never mind, I'm just trying to voice my point of view. There are a few hypocrites here who have replied that they'd like to give me a severe beating yet argue against violence. Misguided fools!.. I'm not avocating violence for the sake of it. Just a reminder of who is the head of the family is all thats needed.

 

I think this is a joke and I find it hillarious that most guys who are violent with women are total and complete...around other men

Im totally not against violence when it is to be used to protect those who are less able to defend themselves. Maybe your wife feels you are out of line and perhaps it is her turn to beat you. I would be glad to pitch HIT on her behalf anytime any place!

I have not slighted anyone in this forum and don't know why you should feel the need to. I have made a valid point and have received some very interesting points of view. No-one has yet made a convincing enough argument to make me change my point of view, although I hope that I have convinced a few of you. The loss of our old fashioned values has made the world a worse place to live in.

Dude, this is America, and perhaps you are out of touch with the laws. You don't have a right to put beat anyone. If you don't like your wife, divorce and get the hell away.

i would never lay my hands on a women for any reason other than if she is threatening to take my life or some serious physical harm.

you have no valid reason to beat your wife. its sickening. and i swear, if my sister's bf ever laid a hand on her (which i know he won't), he better pray the cops get to him before i do.

i don't like violence, but i will partake in it to defend my family, my SO, and myself if i have to.

 

If your wife cheats on you and eventually leaves you for another man, YOU end up having to pay money for her every month and in the courts 99% of the time she will get custody of the children. Yet YOU have done nothing wrong and are the victim. This cannot be right. At any point in this wouldn't you have wished you'd given her a half decent beating?
