Fate sucks. Dave Techie and Cate8 are going to burning man. You guys are travelling the country THIS YEAR. I simply won't have enough money until 2010. well, we were going to spend time in utah.

i saw him at ACL in late september. didn't realize he lived in dripping springs till then. i want to see him again soon, was a damn good show. dean and i love to cover "naked as we came"... i think our version is pretty adorable.

 

you have to make his acquaintance lady. that can't be a good thing not to be involved in. the six degrees of separation have to only be like 2 when they live close. do you know a lot of local musicians? that'd be the first place i'd look. what i wouldn't do to sit with a pile of weed, six guitars, and twenty-four musicians of that calibre.

but then again, he's probably filming 'cribs' right fucking now. so much for superheros.

yeah, we know a number of musicians. i wish we knew more. but there are so many crappy musicians here. and of course a number of great ones. i have seen so many amazing shows since i moved here. and i know some "groupies," but have yet to party with anyone "famous." we're working on it, though. i'll keep you posted.

Its nice to be in a town where there are people that actually create well. I got a place in a decent little town now where lots of famous dudes (famous in the 'i write killer tunes but sony doesn't think so so i produced my own cd) frequent. Fortunate to be around those people.

You should get famous so I can say I shot the shit with you back in the day.
