I know what you mean by the depression facade tactic, but in this case, I think we're just getting the honest-to-goodness truth from acetone. It's what's on her mind, I'm sure most of us have had similar thoughts because I know I have . . . you can't fault someone for seeming conrtrived just because others have dilulted ther power of the same emotions by abusing them for a reaction. Even if you are a person trying to seem depressed for attention, isn't there something wrong anyway that's leading you to make those decisions and feels those needs? So why not just take it at face value, because what good will it do to call someone on such a bluff if it were one? They'll get angry, they'll try to no avail to convince you they really are sad, they'll end up being angry and sad at themselves by the end of it anyway.
