I couldnt let a Janis thread pass - I love her work. Great vocals and a super cute hippie chick! and not to mention she was smart too Cant say im in favor of a movie, i find that Janis told her own story pretty well with her music. I think ill go strum the chords for Women is Losers again and have another shot o southern comfort
She's just not the type of soul I would expect/like to see in this big dumb hollywood melodramatic movie...blugh. And I don't like the idea of suddenly Janis being the new "music from the past" fad (ahem, Ray Charles) Not that I won't miss the chance to see it
