That's just what he wants you to think. He couches it behind a layer of attempted and rather weak irony in order to disguise the fact that these are his actual views...

And what of it? This country needs a bit of a wakeup call, his views are harsh but in reality most people in the UK probably agree they're just too scared to say so. There are far too many lilly-livered and PC people now.

The only thing I do disagree with is he seems to be a bit racist at times and there may be a bit of underlying homophobia, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was all satirical. He strikes me as a bit of a "real life troll"; and I like him for it!

Yes I entirely agree, it's political correctness gone mad in this country now. Sometimes all we need is a wake up call. You have homeless disableds on benefits going skydiving at the taxpayer's expense, and WON't SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF MADELEINE MCCANN

Britain for the British I say. Clarkson for me.

And that's just what you want him to think you think, but do you think what you think you think?

Quite I read the Daily Mail every day and I think these chavs are bringing us down to he level of chavs in the Daily Mail: Clarckson, Zeig heil!

You have to remember he is a TV presenter and a journalist, lol - he is doing his 'act'.

I quite like his act - I know many don't. I watch Top Gear a lot coz I like the cars, and I like his style. He is usually honest about the cars too, and I respect that, even if his way of saying it can be a bit sarcastic sometimes, lol.

Rather him than some wet drip presenter with no style. You don't always have to agree with Clarkson to like his stuff - and I think he does Have I Got News For You very well too.

That is why I DID NOT like the American Top Gear. Those guys had no personality and they were terrible actors. You could tell most of everything was scripted/staged. I know a lot of the UK Top Gear is scripted/staged but those guys do a wonderful job making it seem real. Not to mention the quality of the entertainment factor of the UK Top Gear is well WELL above that of the American Top Gear.

Here's something for ya'll that don't like Clarkson. lol

Agreed. Also most of what they do on the american version is a thinly veiled rip off of the UK version.
