job references

    hahaha can you imagine, daisy.

    I seem to be really good at getting jobs, but I never stick around long. I also have upped and left like 5 without notice or anything. Im just glad for my few good references. Ive grown up some though.

    Being a responsible employee who shows up to work on time and would like to leave on time, I can see exactly why that was a valid reason for not hiring you. I don't care what your reasoning is, by quitting over the phone, you screwed over your coworkers in some manner, I'm sure, and it does not show responsibility. Most employers would see it the same, because they don't like having to pull doubles because you decided to flake on them last minute.

    That is not bs. That is business. If you are not grown up enough to behave responsibly, you will not get hired.

    Blaming others is not the way to go...(i.e. calling it "bs") Own up that it was a dumb move..
