i've never complained that a black man got elected just for being black ~ in fact, i've stated that i was FOR Obama, at first, and would have voted for him, if not for all the secrets about his past. i'm not a racist, never have been, and this sure reminds me of an encounter i had in 8th grade with a black girl who accused me of hating her because she was black, to which i responded, "i don't hate you because you're black ~ i dislike you because you're an asshole." This entire "You're a racist if you didn't vote for Obama" stuff absolutely disgusts me, because it never takes into consideration the fact that, no matter what race you are, if you're disagreeable, folks just aren't going to "like" you, and trying to FORCE them to "like" you just makes everything even worse. In this day and age, racism in America has been reduced to a person's opinion, as exemplified by Obama being elected Prez by a MAJORITY of NON-RACIST folks.
Eh. This whole "racism no longer exists because Obama is a black man" bothers me. It's a double-edge sword. But it's incredible that Obama got elected, despite hundreds of years of whites in the office. Pretty amazing, and example of changes on the horizon.
Now see calling people a racist because they don't agree with you I think just makes you a fascist. And we'll never be able to feed and house all the poor and hungry. So what, once we feed all our hungry, should we go and feed all the world's hungry? And obviously you have no idea what NASA has done for science, and how many of the daily inventions you use to make your life easier come directly from NASA research. The day the human race stops exploring is the day we all die.
