Definitely. That was something I was thinking about going into aswell. Although, if I didn't do the environmental engineering course I'm doing now, I probably would have done a course in Ecology and Conservation.

Coo' I have a 4ft decorated teak and a plain 5ft eucalyptus, I used to play a heckof a lot but I haven't picked up either in over a year due to paper thin ajoining walls to our neighbours.

When I can practice without 'disturbing the peace' I totally will do. Bet you practice a shit ton you lucky fuck.

Yeah no need to worry about neighbours not liking it, I'm on acreage. One of the neighbours has one and plays it anyway haha. Maybe my family will get sick of it soon enough enough though. It's nice to play a real one now too, as a pose to both the cardboard and pvc pipes I was playing with before hand.

 

Jealous of the size of the mouth piece on yours. My eucalyptus' is far too big causing me to faint trying to play that motherfucker.

Not in this shit hole of a village. You can guarantee that playing in the park will cause some country bumpkin fag to throw a nearby used crack needle at me.

I'm not that good anymore and would like to practice in private without some fag throwing shit at me.

Mmm yeah, reading all your posts it really doesn't seem like the nicest place to be living.

The mouthpiece on this feels much different to the two I practised with before hand. Mainly just in the fact that it actually has one, not just the 50mm hole or whatever size the pvc is.

What's the sound like on both of yours?

 

I'm not actually sure of the sizes, I think that my teak is about the same size as yours but my eucalyptus is massive I'm sure it's for the professional player as it set me back forty quid. I did buy some beeswax to make the mouthpiece smaller but that gathers so much lint!

The sound on them is nice, the teak sounds like your average tourist didj but the eucalyptus is such a nice deep sound its unreal. Shame my lung capicity can't handle it.

Yeah it's not the nicest of places. Considering it's supposed to be picturesque it's just fucking road and 6ft high hedges for miles so my photography suffers a lot.

To be honest, I don't think country life is for me, I wish so much I could live in Exeter. It's a twenty min driveway but I don't drive so the buses make it an hours drive away.
